Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to our client services:

Consulting

Payment

New Clients

All new clients are required to pay 100% of the total fees payable in advance of the services commencing.

Existing Clients 

Unless agreed with The Thinking Business, all existing clients must pay an advance payment of 50% of the total fee is payable prior to the work commencing. The remaining fees will be invoiced on a monthly basis to cover the cost of the work undertaken during that month. Tax invoices will be issued to the main client contact. 

Cancellations

The following cancellation charges will be incurred if consultancy projects are cancelled:

More than 30 days notice – no cancellation charge
Less than 30 days – 100% cancellation charge

Expenses and VAT

All expenses incurred relating to the consultancy/facilitation project will be charged at cost, including travel, accommodation, meals and postage.

Vat will be charged at the current rate.

In-House Training Courses

Payment

Payment for training programmes is payable in full at least 7 days prior to the training event in order to secure the date. 

Cancellations

The following cancellation charges will be incurred if training courses are cancelled:

1st Date:
More than 30 days notice – no cancellation charge; option to re-book course date
Less than 30 days, more than 14 days – 50% cancellation charge
Less than 14 days – 100% cancellation charge

Re-Bookings: for each subsequent date scheduled and cancelled, 100% cancellation charge will be incurred.

Expenses and VAT

All expenses incurred relating to the training will be charged at cost, including travel, accommodation, meals and postage.

Training Venue Costs

The client is responsible for sourcing, booking and organising the training course venue unless an alternative arrangement is agree in writing with The Thinking Business. The client will directly pay the venue for all costs incurred.

Vat will be charged at the current rate.

Public Training Courses

Payment

Payment for public training programmes must be paid in full in advance prior to the course date to secure the booking.

The training fee includes a training manual, lunch and refreshments unless otherwise stated.

Cancellations

The following cancellation charges will be incurred:

1st Date:
More than 30 days notice – no cancellation charge
Less than 30 days, more than 14 days – 50% cancellation charge
Less than 14 days – 100% cancellation charge

Note: The Thinking Business Limited reserves the right to cancel/reschedule the training course at any time. In this event, delegates who have booked and paid for the course will be given a full refund or the option to re-book onto a future course.

Facilitation

Payment for facilitation services is payable in full at least 7 days prior to the event in order to secure the date.

More than 30 days notice – no cancellation charge
Less than 30 days, more than 14 days – 50% cancellation charge
Less than 14 days – 100% cancellation charge

Coaching

Payment for coaching services is payable in full prior to the programme commencing. Additional coaching sessions not paid for in the initial payment will be invoiced separately.

Cancellations

The following cancellation charges will be incurred if coaching sessions are cancelled:

More than 30 days notice – no cancellation charge
Less than 14 days, more than 7 days – 50% cancellation charge
Less than 7 days – 100% cancellation charge

All expenses incurred relating to the coaching session will be charged at cost, including travel, accommodation, meals and postage.

Vat will be charged at the current rate.

Advance Payments

When a client requests to purchase consulting/training/facilitation/coaching on a prepayment basis (i.e. an advance payment of the full amount for a specific amount of consulting/training/facilitation/coaching either in terms of value or number of days) all work must be booked and undertaken within twelve months of the date of the invoice for the prepayment. In addition, cancellation charges apply as follows:

1st Date:
More than 30 days notice – no cancellation charge
Less than 30 days, more than 14 days – 50% cancellation charge
Less than 14 days – 100% cancellation charge

Subsequent Dates: for each subsequent date scheduled and cancelled, 100% cancellation charge will be incurred.
